- Gets carbon-fibre parts
- Equipped with top-spec cycle parts
Triumph has taken the wraps off a limited edition motorcycle – the Bonneville Bobber TFC. This model is limited to only 750 units worldwide.
The British brand has ensured maximum exclusivity to this motorcycle by equipping it with some of the top-spec features and parts. Firstly, the overall styling of the bike is so much better than the stock model’s as the Bobber TFC gets a new custom dual-tone paint scheme. Each side of the fuel tank gets gold-textured accents and the signature of the person who worked on it. Further, the side panels get carbon-fibre treatment.
There has been a change in the overall riding ergonomics of the bike as well and the company has given it a clip-on handlebar, which has made it more like a café racer. The British folks have given the motorcycle top-spec suspension components as well. The bike now runs on Ohlins at the front and back with adjustability for preload and damping. The brakes, too, are from a top-spec component supplier – Brembo. The bike is seen with M50 four-piston radial callipers with dual 310mm discs at the front. At the rear, there’s a 255mm disc, and a dual-channel ABS comes as standard. The front 19-inch tyre is slimmer than the standard model for better riding dynamics.
The 1,200cc engine that powers this special Bobber remains unchanged. This motor makes 75bhp and good torque, but now with a new performance Akrapovic exhaust, the bike has better top-end performance. There have been no changes done to the six-speed gearbox.
This new Triumph will go on sale in early 2025, and the bookings of the bike can be done through a dedicated website. There’s a high chance a few units will be allocated for the Indian market as there is a market for such rare motorcycles in the country.
