TVS Motor Company has hiked the price of the Apache RTR 180 BS6 in India by Rs 2,500.
The motorcycle which earlier retailed for Rs 1,01,450 now costs Rs 1,03,950 (ex-showroom, Delhi). This is the BS6-compliant Apache RTR 180’s first price hike since its launch in March this year. Nevertheless, the motorcycle remains the same despite the increase in price.
The Apache RTR 180 BS6 continues to sport an aggressive styling with ‘frown-shaped’ LED DRLs, a brawny-looking fuel tank, and a sculpted tail section. It also retains the gold-finished fork bottles and four colour schemes- Pearl White, Matte Blue, Gloss Black, and T Grey. Moreover, the Apache RTR 180 BS6 is powered by a 177.4cc, single-cylinder, oil-cooled engine that produces 16.5bhp at 8,500rpm and 15.5Nm at 7,000rpm.
TVS has also increased the price of the Apache RTR 160 4V, Apache RTR 160 as well as the Apache RTR 200 4V in the country.
