- Carecraft service camp conducted in Bangalore
- Addressed issues like high vibrations and throttle lag
- Likely to be conducted in other cities soon
TVS recently conducted a service camp for the Apache RTR 310 owners in Bangalore, as per an online report. The camp was called Carecraft and it was focused on addressing some issues in the bike like high vibrations and throttle response lag.
The TVS Apache RTR 310 exudes a lot of vibrations from 70-80kmph and they keep on increasing as the speed rises. These vibes are mainly felt on the seat and the handlebar. Another issue is the minor lag in deceleration on rolling off the throttle. While these problems have been reported by a few owners, our test bike also had similar niggles which were later resolved by the brand. An owner also pointed out that the quick shifter turned off abruptly.
As per the online report mentioned above, TVS changed the seat cushion and foam in contact with the fuel tank. The handlebar damper has also been replaced with heavier units. Moreover, the throttle lag and quick shifter issues have been fixed through an ECU software update and by tweaking the cable routing.
Now, when will TVS conduct a similar camp in other parts of India is still not known. We contacted TVS to get more information on this but a clarification or an official statement is yet to be received.
