TVS Motor Company has announced a new support initiative for its customers with two-wheelers and three-wheelers affected by flood due to the recent torrential rains. The campaign will be held from 26 August to 15 September in flood-hit areas of Gujarat, Maharashtra, Karnataka, Kerala, Tamil Nadu and North Eastern states of India.
Under this campaign, the affected TVS vehicles will be serviced at authorized dealerships and service centre, with an exemption of complete labour cost. This will be regardless of the availability of vehicle insurance. The company also ensured to provide assistance in the claiming process for those with their vehicles insured. For a fast-paced execution, the manufacturer has tied-up with various insurance companies. Also a part of the initiative is free engine oil replacement, free towing service up to 20km and facilitation of warranty approval in exceptional cases. Following the service and repair of the vehicle, TVS will also offer exchange schemes for the customers. In the affected regions, the company reportedly has adequate availability of genuine spare parts.
TVS will be reaching out to customers in the affected regions through various mediums including SMS, WhatsApp, brochures, official social media handles and BTL (below the line) activities.
