TVS Motor Company has announced that it has achieved export milestone of 1,00,000 units in March 2021. The company said in a press statement that an increase in motorcycle sales in key markets across the world have contributed to this achievement.
Speaking about the milestone, Sudarshan Venu, Joint Managing Director, TVS Motor Company, said that the company has witnessed growth across various geographies with a definite shift to premiumisation over the past months. Venu further added that the investments in technology and the future of mobility will be important for the company in the next phase of growth and transformation.
TVS Motor Company offers its products in over 60 countries across Africa, South East Asia, Indian Sub-Continent, and Central and Latin America. The Hosur-based brand aims to enter more markets in Europe and North America. The company's key export products include the Apache range, HLX series, Stryker series, etc.
The company also made announcements about Norton Motorcycles. The British two-wheeler brand is currently finalising the construction of its new factory in Solihull. The new facility is expected to open by the mid-Q2 of 2021.
