- TVS’ One-Make Championship Mumbai selection round announced

TVS Racing has announced that the selection round for the women and rookie categories of its One-Make Championship will be held in Mumbai on 27 March, 2022.
To be held at the Ajmera IndiKarting, this session will comprise a training program conducted by TVS Racing’s national champions and will help the participants familiarise themselves with race motorcycles. While participants in the women’s category will be riding the race-spec TVS Apache RTR 200 4V, those in the rookie category will train astride the Apache RR 200.
TVS Racing’s team will select 20 riders in each category from each city. They will be chosen based on their lap timings, physical fitness, and racing abilities. Also, those aspiring to be in the rookie category must be in the age bracket of 11-18 years. After shortlisting riders from different cities, the team will host the final selection round at the Madras Motor Race Track in May this year.
The selected riders will be trained by the national champions of TVS Racing for the 2022 Indian National Motorcycle Racing (INMRC). The training will majorly involve honing the racing skills of the participants and improving their physical fitness. The selected racers will be competing over five rounds astride race-prepped Apache RTR 200 4V and the Apache RR 200 bikes.
