-Owners can spec the paint and livery
-Available for the Norton Commando 961, V4SV and V4CR
-Entire process should take four to six months
TVS-owned Norton Motorcycles have announced a new One of One customisation program for its motorcycles. Under this program, owners can specify the colour of the paint and livery that they’d want for their motorcycle. They can also create a design replica of an iconic Norton race bike.
At present, Norton is offering this customisation program on three of its models. They are the Norton Commando 961, V4SV and V4CR. On the Commando 961, one can customise the fuel tank and the tail section. On the other two models, one can design the colours and livery on the fairing and the rest of the panels as per their preference.
Norton says that once a customer signs up for the program, a factory consultant will get in touch and work with them to come up with a unique design for their motorcycle. Once the design has been fixed, a render is sent to the customer for approval. Depending on the complexity of the design, the time taken could range from four to six months. During this time, Norton will also share the progress of the customisation process with the client.
In order to demonstrate the capabilities of the One of One customisation program, Norton unveiled the V4SV White Charger. It features the replica of the Norton RCW588 race bike that was ridden by Steve Hislop in the 1992 Isle of Man TT.
Customisation programs give people the opportunity to make a bike truly their own and also an extension of themselves and their ideas. The Norton One of One program will make for a platform for those interested in letting a motorcycle express themselves.
