Word is that while the company will introduce new motorcycles, these will bear a premium price tag. At present, motorcycles like the Norton 961 Commando as well as the VRSV are quite expensive.

It’ll be interesting to see what type of motorcycles the company comes up with and what price points they’ll target. Pricing, after all, is crucial in a price sensitive market like India.

Besides these announcements, TVS has also assembled a new senior leadership team for Norton Motorcycles. The company has been busy extracting Norton from the various issues that it was buried under. There were unfulfilled orders and employee pensions that were held up. TVS says that it has managed to fulfill orders and is now focused on growing the Norton brand.
