- Total of 3.05 lakh units sold in April
- Scooters grow by 9 per cent
- Ntorq 125 yet to get CBS unit
TVS Motor Company has registered a 4 per cent growth in sales for April 2019.
The Chennai-based manufacturer sold 3.05 lakh two-wheelers last month as compared to 2.93 lakh units in April last year. Motorcycles sales grew by 9 per cent from 1.31 lakh units in April 2018 to 1.43 lakh units in April 2019. Meanwhile scooters also witnessed a 9 per cent growth. TVS sold 97,323 scooters in April as against the 89,245 units it announced for the same period last year.
TVS has witnessed a good bump in sales over the last few months and even went on to beat Honda's sales in the month of March. While the XL 100 continues to be its highest-selling product, the Apache series and Ntorq 125 have been doing well in terms of sales too. Interestingly, TVS hasn't updated the Ntorq 125 with a CBS unit yet and is expected to do so soon.
