- Will be the first cruiser model in TVS’ portfolio
- Likely to be powered by a 223cc single-cylinder motor
- Could get USD forks
Contrary to all the rumors of the TVS Zeppelin R’s launch, our sources tell us that the Hosur-based manufacturer could bring the Ronin 225 cruiser. It’s scheduled to debut on July 6 and here are more details.
The TVS Ronin 225 will don thorough retro bodywork like a traditional cruiser. It could get a round console, similar to the Ducati Scrambler. It’ll house the necessary readouts (odometer, speedometer, fuel level, engine temperature, etc). Meanwhile, the powertrain is likely to be a 223cc single-cylinder motor with the probable output rated at around 20bhp and 20Nm. Expect it to be mated to a 5-speed gearbox.
That said, the Ronin 225 cruiser could be equipped with USD forks and a monoshock. Meanwhile, the braking hardware is expected to comprise a single disc at both ends with dual-channel ABS.
The launch isn’t far away and we’ve already received the official invitation as well. So, stay tuned for more information on the upcoming TVS cruiser.
