- Ronin-based cruiser picture leaked
- Gets low-slung aesthetics
- Launch likely in 2025
TVS is serious about taking on the cruiser segment. The Ronin helped the brand create its own identity, and now, the company wants to explore the segment more with a new cruiser.
The company has recently applied for patenting the design of a new cruiser. This leaked picture shows the front of the motorcycle, and it is clear that the brand now wants to build a low-slung traditional cruiser. The patent picture shows a round headlamp, a pair of traditional forks, a wide handlebar and a bulky fuel tank. There’s also a single exhaust on the right side, which makes us believe a single-cylinder engine will power this bike.
The Hosur-based brand has been quite vocal about expanding its Ronin line-up. While it showcased some custom builds on the Ronin platform at the MotoSoul 2023, it intends to create something of its own for the Indian market. TVS must have observed that no entry-level low-slung premium motorcycles are likely to position this cruiser in that segment.
We expect TVS to launch this low-slung cruiser by 2025 under the Ronin brand. In fact, we can also expect the company to showcase a cruiser concept soon.
