TVS sales increased by 24 per cent in April

-         TVS registers 24 per cent growth

-         Scooter segment contributed the most

-         iQube selling well

TVS has reported an impressive sales growth of 24 per cent in April. The company sold total units of 2,38,983 units last month as against 2,38,983 from April last year.

From the total sales, the motorcycle segment contributed 1,39,927 units and the scooters by 102,209. The double-digit growth is due to great demand for TVS scooters like the Jupiters and the NTorq. Its premium bike the Apache RR310 isn’t selling as much as it should, but the company did claim that the global chip shortage is affecting its business.

Interestingly, the company’s EV business also saw good growth. The company sold 1420 iQubes last month against 307 units in April last year. We can expect the brand to sell more of its EV as it starts selling it to more dealers around the country.
