Bengaluru-based electric two-wheeler startup, Ultraviolette is set to launch its first offering, the F77 in India tomorrow. The bike was unveiled last month and a handful of new details were revealed as well.
The Ultraviolette F77 gets a very futuristic and distinctive design. And the latest production model has been updated with better thermal management and a denser battery with passive cooling. The latter is aimed at improving the range by increasing the number of cells to 21,700. That said, the F77 will house a 10.7kWh battery with an IDC range of 307km.
Ultraviolette has also tweaked the bike’s chassis to increase the stiffness by two folds. So, the F77 now gets a spine section that connects the head joint and motor mounting point. Even the bike’s swingarm has been changed. Utraviolette has suspended the F77 on USD front forks and a monoshock with preload adjustability for both. On the feature front, you can expect the new electric motorcycle to get LED illumination, smartphone connectivity, and more.
Bookings for the Ultraviolette F77 commenced on October 23 with the token amount set to Rs 10,000. You can expect it to be priced at a notable premium and offered in multiple variants as well. The launch will be carried out in a phased manner with Bengaluru being the first city.
