Bengaluru-based electric two-wheeler startup, Ultraviolette has revealed new details of its motorcycle, the F77. The production-ready bike has seen a series of changes over the model showcased back in 2019. Here’s all that you need to know now.
While the design remains unaltered, Ultraviolette has worked on the battery’s thermal management and amped up the density too. The aluminum-encased pack now houses 21,700 cells instead of 18,650 cells in the prototype. The capacity for the F77’s top-end variant is now rated at 10.7kWh giving it an IDC claimed range of 307km.
Furthermore, the chassis to has been redesigned and is now said to be twice as stiff as the previous one. Ultraviolette has redesigned the frame and added a spine section that connects the headjoint and motor mount. The battery pack is located below it and now benefits from passive air cooling as well. The F77’s swingarm too has been changed.
For the suspension hardware, the Ultraviolette electric motorcycle gets USD front forks and a monoshock. Both units offer preload adjustability. With its current setup, the Ultraviolette F77 has the largest battery pack of all the electric two-wheelers in India.
Official bookings will commence on October 23 and the token amount is set to Rs 10,000. The pricing is yet to be revealed but we expect it to cost a premium.
