Ultraviolette Automotive has announced that it will launch its electric motorcycle, the F77 in the Indian market on 24 November, 2022. This new electric motorcycle will be launched across the country in a phased manner, starting with Bengaluru. The company added in its press statement that it also plans to launch the motorcycle in the US and Europe, although the timeline for exports is not available yet.
The motorcycle will be available in three variants – Airstrike, Shadow, and Laser. The mechanical specifications are already available, and the Ultraviolette F77 will use a 25kW motor that will make a maximum power output of 34.7bhp and 90Nm of torque.
The company claims a 0-60kmph acceleration time of 2.9 seconds while the top speed is rated at 140kmph. Further, the claimed battery range stands at 200km on a full charge.
The F77 will be equipped with remote diagnostics, over-the-air (OTA) upgrades, dual-channel ABS, adjustable suspensions, regenerative braking, multiple ride modes, bike tracking, and ride diagnostics among other features. Ultraviolette has announced that it has received 70,000 prelaunch booking interests from 190 countries.
