The Ultraviolette F77 is the most expensive and fastest electric motorcycle in India. We were fortunate enough to spend a few days with the motorcycle recently and the detailed road test review is live. Now, since the F77 is quite a looker, the pictures of the bike we have shot are worth giving a good glance. In that case, here’s a gallery of our favourite images of the F77 from our review.
With its radical and futuristic styling, this electric bike from the Bengaluru-based brand can put a lot of ICE fully-faired bikes to shame.
It looks like a proper sport bike with a low-slung headlamp, sharp and forward-swept side fairings, and a pointed raked tail. The unique front fork covers further add to the swankiness of the design.
It does not just look fast but is also capable of attaining a respectable top speed of 147kmph in Ballistic mode. Whereas, in Combat and Glide modes, it goes up to 135kmph and 80kmph, respectively.
Propelling it to these impressive speeds is a 30.2kW permanent magnet AC motor that is delivered energy by a sizeable 10.2kWh battery pack.
In our real-world range test, the electric motorcycle returned a range of 200.2km which is commendable considering it was just marginally lower than the range claimed by the brand.
Ultraviolette has also equipped the F77 with a bunch of contemporary features. All the data about the bike is shown on a TFT screen that gets Bluetooth connectivity and other fancy bits like brightness adjustability.
Other features include a full-LED lighting system, three riding modes, a 3kW fast charger (optional), parking assist, a document storage compartment, and dual-channel ABS.
Ultraviolette has priced the F77 Recon at Rs 4.55 lakh (ex-showroom). That makes it costlier than the likes of petrol-powered KTM 390 Duke and Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 which offer similar or lightly better acceleration and top speed.
