Ultraviolette Automotive, a Bengaluru-based electric two-wheeler startup recently launched its latest offering in India, the F77 Space Edition. It is based on the brand’s existing e-motorcycle line but is limited to just 10 units and comes with a bunch of swanky bits. Let’s take a look at all that the F77 Space Edition has to offer.
Has Ultraviolette made any design changes to the F77 Space Edition?
Ultraviolette has retained the design of the standard F77 on the Space Edition. So, it gets the same sharp styling with a futuristic headlight, large side panels and a raised front end. However, this trim comes with a new paint scheme of Cosmic White which comprises a dual-tone combination of white and orange.
Apart from that, Ultraviolette has also used aerospace-grade materials for the Space Edition’s construction. This includes 7075-grade aluminium, special UV-resistant paint, and an aluminium key.
What are the features of the new F77 limited edition?
Along with LED illumination, the Ultraviolette F77 comes with fast charging, a five-inch TFT, multi-control switchgear, ride modes, Wi-Fi, smartphone connectivity, navigation, ABS, regenerative braking, and more.
Has the F77 Space Edition received any changes in terms of output figures?
Yes, the F77 Space Edition comes with a more powerful motor. Its output is rated at 30.2kW and 100Nm. This has also led to a change in the 0-100kmph acceleration figures as the Space Edition claims to do it in 7.8 seconds, compared to the Recon’s eight seconds mark and the original’s 8.3 seconds timing. Apart from that, this trim also gets a higher top speed of 152kmph, while its maximum range is the same as that of the Recon variant – 307km.
What is the hardware setup for the latest F77 variant?
It shares the hardware with the Recon model and rides on USD front forks and a monoshock, both adjustable. Then, the braking hardware comprises a 320mm front disc and a 230mm rear disc with dual-channel ABS. The setup is mounted on 17-inch wheels wrapped in 110/70 front and 150/60 rear tyres.
How much does the new Ultraviolette F77 Space Edition cost?
The asking price for the Ultraviolette F77 is set at Rs. 5.60 lakh (ex-showroom, Bengaluru). This makes it Rs. 1.05 lakh more expensive than the Recon model.
