- International-spec F77 to be unveiled at EICMA 2023
- To be launched internationally within the first year of its production
- New product platforms to be displayed
Bengaluru-based electric two-wheeler brand, Ultraviolette, is all set to unveil the international-spec model of the F77 e-motorcycle at this year’s EICMA show in Milan, Italy. This will mark the company’s entry into the European market. Interestingly, Ultraviolette will also display its new product platforms for the global markets at EICMA.
As of now, there’s no clarity on what differences the international-spec model will bear over the one sold in India. For your reference, the latter offers an IDC (ideal driving conditions) range of 307kms while the top speed stands at an impressive 150kmph. Its motor pumps out 100Nm of peak torque which is good enough to propel it from zero to 60kmph in 2.9 seconds. There are three riding modes, namely Glide, Combat, and Ballistic, besides other safety and convenience-oriented features.
As for the new product platforms mentioned by the brand, we believe these will include something more affordable and more practical, perhaps an electric scooter, and a cheaper and lower-spec version of the F77. The ex-showroom prices of the electric bike start from Rs. 3.80 lakh in India which is quite steep. Now, whether these speculations are accurate will only be confirmed between 7 and 12 November, the dates for EICMA 2023. Ultraviolette’s pavilion will be called the UV Space Station which will have technology demonstration and merchandise on display, besides the aforementioned electric motorcycle and product platforms.
