The Ultraviolette F77 is the newest entry in the electric motorcycle category. Built by Ultraviolette Automotive, a Bangalore based company, the F77 is available in three versions- Lightning, Shadow and Laser. These are priced from Rs 3 lakh to Rs 3.25 lakh (on-road). However, if you are in the market with a similar budget, there are four motorcycles to choose from. Here is the list-
Kawasaki Ninja 300
While the Ultraviolette F77 has a streetfighter styling, you can have the fully-faired Kawasaki Ninja 300 at Rs 2.98 lakh. It gets a sharp styling and a potent 299cc, parallel-twin engine to match. The high-revving motor produces 39bhp of power at 11,000rpm and 27Nm of torque at 10,000rpm. Moreover, the Ninja 300’s slightly raised clip-ons and rear set footpegs make for a mildly aggressive riding position.
Benelli 302R
Another fully-faired motorcycle in this list comes from Benelli in the form of the 302R. The motorcycle a slightly upright yet aggressive seating position. It sports a split headlamp setup with LED DRLs at the bottom while the tail lamp and turn signals gets full LED lighting. Underneath its skin is a 300cc, parallel-twin motor that churns out 38.2bhp at 11,500rpm and 26.5Nm of torque at 10,000rpm. Benelli has priced the 302R at Rs 3.10 lakh.
Benelli TNT 300
Now if you prefer a streetfighter motorcycle, fret not because you can get the Benelli 302R in stripped down form and its called the TNT 300. The motorcycle misses out on the full-fairing and exposes its tubular steel trellis frame and sharp tank extensions. The TNT 300 uses the same 300cc, parallel-twin motor as the 302R that is good for 37.7bhp and 26.5Nm. It comes with a price tag of Rs 2.99 lakh.
BMW G310R
Another option in the streetfighter segment is the BMW G310 R which demands a price of Rs 2.99 lakh. It comes powered by a 313cc, single-cylinder motor that puts out 33bhp of power at 9500rpm and 28Nm of torque at 7500rpm.In terms of styling, the G310 R draws inspiration from the bigger R 1250 R. It gets a muscular fuel tank with sharp tank extension and a low-slung headlamp.
