- It will launch the Renegade Vegas and Duty S cruisers

UM Motorcycles has announced that it will be launching a line-up of new motorcycles in India in 2019. This consists of the Renegade Vegas and Renegade Duty S cruisers along with the DSR Adventure models. The Renegade Vegas and DSR Adventure motorcycles were unveiled at the 2018 EICMA while the Renegade Duty S was introduced at the Auto Expo 2018.
The Renegade Vegas carries the traditional UM cruiser styling and is powered by a 280cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that produces 25.4bhp of power and 23Nm of torque. It is mated to a six-speed gearbox. The Renegade Duty S, on the other hand, boasts of a bobber-like styling and gets a 223cc, air-cooled, single-cylinder mill that churns out 16.8bhp and 17Nm. This gets a five-speed gearbox.
In the case of the DSR Adventure models, the bike is split into two variants – the DSR Adventure 125 EFI and the Adventure TT 125 EFI. While the former is a road-focused model, the latter is an adventure-oriented bike. Both bikes are powered by a 124cc, single-cylinder engine that generates 14.7bhp of power and 10.9Nm of torque.
With the launch of these new bikes, UM aims to expand its portfolio in India. In the days to come, it might also launch other models here that are sold in the European markets. The aforementioned bikes will be launched in the second quarter of 2019.
