- Chill 150 scooter will be launched in mid-2019

Earlier this week, we told you about the Chill 150 ABS scooter, a modern-retro scooter by UM. Now thanks to one of our sources, we have got our hands on the product presentation of this scooter and also its launch plans.
The company plans to launch this scooter by August 2019. With this new product, UM is looking to get some good volumes for itself and the dealers. It believes that there’s a space for the brand in the growing scooter segment.
The Chill 150 scooter will be launched in four bright colours to make it look more youthful. That way, it plans to eat into the Vespa sales which are priced over a lakh. It plans to position the Chill 150 as a value for money scooter. So things like dual discs, ABS and 150cc engine will surely make it an enticing scooter, if priced right. At the design front, the scooter follows a modern-retro approach and is equipped with plenty of chrome.
Once launched, the UM Chill will go against the Vespa range. The company also plans to add more variants of this scooter if the market responds well.
