UM India is developing a new 230cc café racer for the Indian market. However, the launch of this bike is still a year away from now.
The company will be using its 230cc air-cooled single-cylinder motor for this café racer. This motor will power the Renegade Duty 230 which is expected to be launched in India in the next few weeks. According to our sources, the company also planned to develop a scrambler, but later dropped the plan as that bike required more R&D efforts and the company didn’t see that much value and sales.
UM India is working heavily to make a café racer that will appeal to a wider range of Indian buyers. In fact, pricing it right is company’s top priority. While details on this upcoming product is scarce at the moment, the company is quite confident that this product will get them better numbers.
