UM Motorcycles has opened its eighth dealership at Raipur, Chhattisgarh. Called UM Raipur, the new dealership is situated at Akash Automobiles, Ashtavinayak (V) Tower, Azad Chowk, G. E. Road, Raipur.
The dealership is spread over an area of approximately 2500 square feet. It has a showroom integrated with an after-sales service facility. The company says, the Renegade Commando and Renegade Sport S will be made available for test rides at this showroom soon.
Speaking on this occasion, Mr. Rajeev Mishra director UML said, “This showroom in Raipur marks our entry in the state of Chhattisgarh. The state has emerged as a very strong market in the Central region for cruiser bikes and is yet another milestone after the successful Indian launch of the UM Motorcycles. This dealership will house our flagship products like Renegade Commando and Renegade Sport S which has already received an overwhelming response from across the country since its launch in Auto Expo 2016. The UM Motorcycles current product line-up consists of the Renegade Commando and the Renegade Sport S. Both the motorcycles share the same 279cc single-cylinder water-cooled engine developing 25bhp at 8,500rpm and 21.8Nm of torque at 7,000rpm. The engine comes mated to a six-speed transmission. Both the motorcycles have a fuel tank capacity of 18-litres. Suspension duties are handled by telescopic forks at the front and dual shock absorbers at the rear. The Renegade Commando will be available at Rs 1.68 lakh (ex-showroom, Raipur). While, the Renegade Sport S will be available at Rs 1.58 lakh (ex-showroom, Raipur).
