UM Motorcycles inaugurated its ninth dealership in India in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh. To be called Awadh UM, the new dealership is situated at 1/1 27-B Jopling Road.
The dealership is spread over an area of approximately 3100 square feet. It has a showroom integrated with an after-sales service facility. The company says, the Renegade Commando and Renegade Sports S will be made available for test rides at this showroom soon.
Speaking on this occasion, Mr. Rajeev Mishra director at UML said, "UM Motorcycles is focused on delivering a 'pure motorcycling' experience to the customers, our motorcycles are classically styled, simple, evocative fun to ride. This is the brand's first showroom in Lucknow in Uttar Pradesh. The state has emerged as a very strong market in the North region for cruiser bikes and the opening of this showroom is a testimony to this fact. We are confident that this state of the art showroom will be able to fulfil the aspirations and needs of our customers with our amazing products and fabulous service. This dealership will house our flagship products like Renegade Commando and Renegade Sports S. The prospective customers of UM Motorcycles in Lucknow will be able to discover our products up close and personal at this new dealership.”
The UM Motorcycles current product line-up consists of the Renegade Commando and the Renegade Sports S. Both the motorcycles share the same 279cc single-cylinder water-cooled engine developing 25bhp at 8,500rpm and 21.8Nm of torque at 7,000rpm. The engine comes mated to a six-speed transmission. Both the motorcycles have a fuel tank capacity of 18-litres. Suspension duties are handled by telescopic forks at the front and dual shock absorbers at the rear. The Renegade Commando will be available at Rs 1.66 lakh (ex-showroom, Lucknow). While, the Renegade Sports S will be available at Rs 1.56 lakh (ex-showroom, Lucknow).
