- The line-up consists of a scrambler and café racers
- It has also unveiled the Renegade Vegas cruiser motorcycle
- The bikes will be available in the Europeans markets for now
UM Motorcycles unveiled its 2019 line-up of motorcycles at the 2018 EICMA show in Milan, Italy. The array consists of the Scrambler Naked 250 V-twin, Café Racer 250 V-twin and the Café Sport 250 V-twin. The company also unveiled the Renegade Vegas cruiser bike.
The design of the Scrambler Naked 250 V-twin appears to be adventure-oriented with dual purpose tyres, spoke wheels, long seat and a tall stance. The Café Sport and Café Racer look similar but a bit sporty due to the single seat and rear cowl. Powering the three bikes is a 248.9cc, V-twin, air-cooled engine that churns out 18bhp at 8,000rpm and 18.5Nm at 8,000rpm. The unit is mated to a five-speed gearbox.
The Scrambler Naked and Café Racer get telescopic front forks while the Café Sport incorporates upside-down forks on the front. A monoshock suspension at the rear does duty on all the bikes. Braking is handled by front and rear disc brakes while ABS is standard.
The Renegade Vegas cruiser bike follows the traditional UM design pattern with modern aesthetics. It is powered by a 300cc, single-cylinder motor that produces 25.4bhp of power at 9,500rpm. It comes mated to a six-speed gearbox.
All the aforementioned motorcycles will be available in the European markets. There are no reports of their entry into India but we expect that they might come here in the near future.
