- Renegade Commando to be launched in matte black paint scheme
- Will be sold alongside the three existing colours
- No change in price
UM has commenced the dispatch of the Renegade Commando in a new paint scheme. The cruiser will now be available in a matte black colour apart from the three existing paint schemes.
The Renegade Commando was launched in a single matte green paint scheme, although two gloss paint schemes, red and black, were added later. The new matte black bike features an all-black treatment with the matte gold engine crankcase contrasting beautifully with the rest of the components. The Renegade Commando is powered by a liquid-cooled 279cc single-cylinder engine. This engine delivers 25bhp and 21.8Nm of torque, and is mated to a six-speed gearbox. Fueling is taken care of by a fuel-injection system, although a more affordable carbureted variant is expected to go on sale soon.
There is no change in price, and the new matte black Renegade Commando continues to retail at Rs 1.82 lakhs. We expect the rest of the UM dealerships across the country to start receiving this motorcycle over the next week. The Renegade Commando competes against the Royal Enfield Thunderbird 350X, Bajaj Dominar 400 and the Mahindra Mojo UT300.
