Here are pictures of the upcoming 2017 CFMoto 650MT. CFMoto motorcycles are badged and sold by Eider in India. Eider sells the other two 650cc motorcycles on offer by CFMoto in India which means we will likely see this new motorcycle head our way too.
These set of spy pictures is unlike the usual hidden and camouflaged ones, it reveals almost everything about the motorcycle. The 650MT will basically be a semi-faired sport motorcycle based on the existing platform CFMoto is using. In terms of design, the motorcycle sits somewhere between the naked 650NK and the touring-oriented fully faired TK model. Australian sources have credited the images to CFMoto itself, which means this is basically what we will see in 2017.
Powering the 650MT will be the same 649.3cc, liquid-cooled, parallel-twin, DOHC engine that produces 55.7bhp at 9500rpm and 62Nm of torque at 7000rpm. The motorcycle will also feature electronic fuel injection and a six-speed gearbox. The front wheel has 300mm dual discs with twin-piston calipers and the rear wheel has a 240mm single disc with a single piston.
What’s interesting is that if launched in India, this motorcycle will be the only rival to the Kawasaki Versys 650.
