- Test mule spotted again
- Equipped with top box, saddle bag and spoked wheels
- Powered by a liquid-cooled single-cylinder motor
The upcoming Bajaj-Triumph Scrambler has been spotted testing again in Maharashtra. The bike was equipped with luggage accessories but the tail bag seen in the previous spy shots has made for a hard case top box, and the saddle bag remains unchanged.
Apart from the storage bits, the test bike also featured handlebar guards and a small windscreen upfront. It's equipped with an LED headlight and tail light, a slim fuel tank with grips on the side, and LED turn indicators. Overall, the Bajaj-Triumph bike looks quite slender. The engine details are scarce at the moment but we know it’ll be a single-cylinder liquid-cooled motor. The capacity could be around 250-300cc so it rivals the Royal Enfield Hunter and Classic 350.
One major change visible on the new test mule is the spoked wheels instead of the alloys that the previous bike featured. So, Triumph could offer a set of accessories with the new bike. The USD front forks, rear monoshock, and front/rear disc brake setup seem to be unaltered from the last time. Even the double barrel exhaust has been carried over.
Overall, the bike looks very close to production and we expect an official unveil in 2023 followed by its launch in India. Apart from the aforementioned Royal Enfield bikes, the Bajaj-Triumph product will also have the Jawa 42, TVS Ronin and a few more names in its crosshair.
