- Features Tripper navigation system
- Uses a new design for alloy wheels
- Launch details unavailable yet
The upcoming Royal Enfield Classic 650 was spotted in India recently. The new spy images reveal several styling elements and features that we would see on the motorcycle. For starters, the upcoming Royal Enfield Classic 650 will feature a round headlight at the front, a cowl over the headlight, a twin-pod instrument cluster, a curvy fuel tank, a round taillight, and twin-sided exhausts.
We could see the Tripper navigation system that occupies the space next to the instrument cluster. The hardware on the motorcycle comprise upside-down front forks and twin-sided rear springs to handle the suspension tasks. The anchoring setup comprises single discs on both wheels while the safety net should include twin-channel ABS. The motorcycle rides on alloy wheels that feature a modern design.
The details about the mechanical specification are not available yet, but we expect to see similar numbers as the Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 and the Continental GT 650. The 648cc, parallel-twin engine on the Interceptor 650 and the Continental GT 650 delivers 47bhp and 52Nm. The motor is linked to a six-speed gearbox.
The launch details about the new Classic 650 are scarce. However, we expect to see the production-spec model later this year.
