- Prototype spotted testing near Pune
- Features long travel suspension and wire-spoke wheels
- Indian launch details unavailable yet
Classic Legends is working on a new adventure-tourer model that will arrive under the Yezdi brand and rival the likes of Royal Enfield Himalayan and the Hero XPulse 200 in the Indian market. The company is currently testing the motorcycle and it appears to be in the early stages of development. A camouflaged test mule of the adventure-tourer was recently spotted somewhere near Pune along with a scrambler-style model.
The new spy video gives a glimpse at the styling and the hardware of the motorcycle. This new motorcycle from Classic Legends will feature a tall-set front fender, a round headlight, a tall windscreen, a side-slung exhaust, and wire-spoke wheels. Unlike the Royal Enfield Himalayan and the Hero XPulse 200, this new Yezdi adventure-tourer will use a liquid-cooled engine.
The details about the mechanical specifications are scarce, although Classic Legends could source the existing motor from its Jawa range. We may see a Jawa Perak-sourced 334cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled motor. The engine is tuned to produce 30bhp of power and 32.74Nm of peak torque on the Jawa Perak bobber.
The motorcycle, as mentioned before, is in the early stages of development. We may see this adventure-tourer in the Indian market in late-2022.
