- Vespa 75th edition to be launched on 19 August, 2021
- Likely to get yellow metallic paint
- Mechanical specification likely to remain unaltered
Vespa India has announced that it will introduce the Vespa 75th model in our market on 19 August, 2021. The company, however, has not revealed any further details about the Vespa 75th yet. The two-wheeler maker already offers the Vespa Primavera 150 and Vespa GTS 75th Anniversary Edition scooters in the Malaysian market, although we do not expect to see those on our shores.
While the details are scarce, we expect the India-bound Vespa 75th edition to carry similar styling cues as the scooters sold in the Malaysian market. Thus, we could see special yellow metallic bodywork along with the number “75” on the panels to commemorate the company’s 75th anniversary. The Malaysian scooters also get a large circular leather bag mounted on the tail, and we could see the same on the India-bound models.
The changes would be limited to styling revisions and the mechanical specifications are likely to remain unaltered. The 75th edition should carry a price premium over the standard version of the scooter.
