- New Vespa GTV 300 introduced
- Gets new grey paint scheme
- Launched in Japan
Piaggio surely knows how to keep its Vespa range of scooters exciting throughout the year. The company has introduced a new paint scheme for the GTV 300 scooter for the Japanese market.
This new paint scheme is called Grey Travolgente which has a hint of bright orange on the bodywork. These orange accents can be seen on the headlamp unit, front panel and also on the rear panels. All of this makes the scooter look quite exciting and attractive.
The Italian company hasn’t touched the mechanical aspects of the scooter, nor has it added any new features. The GTV 300 gets its power from the 278cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine which makes around 24bhp of peak power – which is quite a lot for an urban scooter. In terms of features, this scooter gets LED lights throughout and a full digital instrument cluster along with ABS and riding modes.
Just like the other high-performance scooters in its range, the GTV 300 is priced quite high and that is also one of the reasons why such scooters won’t work in India.
