Vespa Primavera gets new Verde Relax colour option

- Available with three engine options

- Features retro design

- Indian launch unlikely

Piaggio has added the new Verde Relax paint option to its Vespa Primavera scooter range. The scooter is available with multiple engine options in several international markets. While the Primavera is not sold in India, we would not be surprised to see the new paint options on the Vespa scooters sold in our market.

The new paint option looks appealing. The chrome highlights and a brown seat cover, along with modern features such as front and rear LED lighting, further enhance the looks of the scooter.

The Primavera is sold with 50cc, 125cc and a 155cc engine options. The smallest displacement version is tuned to produce 4.02bhp of maximum power. The 125cc model makes 10.59bhp while the highest displacement model produces 12.73bhp. The anchoring setup on all three displacement models includes a disc brake at the front.

The 50cc version is priced at USD 3,999 (Rs 3.05 lakh*) while the 150cc model is available for USD 5,349 (Rs 4.07 lakh*) in the US.

Back home, Piaggio India has updated its Vespa and Aprilia range of products to comply with the BS6 emission norms.
