Hero MotoCorp has unveiled the Vida Z electric scooter at EICMA 2024. The scooter marks the brand’s entry into the European market.
While Hero MotoCorp hasn’t revealed many details about the scooter, the Vida Z seems to be based on the V1 electric scooter available in India. It looks modern and stylish with minimalist styling and shares its LED headlamp with the V1. The scooter features a flat seat with an integrated backrest.
The company claims that the Vida Z is based on a modular architecture and can accommodate multiple battery capacities ranging from 2.2 kWh to 4.4 kWh. The electric scooter is powered by a permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM). Besides this, Hero has refrained from revealing further details about the scooter.
However, similar to the Vida V1, the Z also gets removable batteries. The scooter will come equipped with connectivity features that will allow users to track battery health, vehicle theft, geo-fencing, and more. It also gets a touchscreen TFT display.
