- Voge 900 DS unveiled
- Powered by an 895cc parallel twin motor
- India launch unlikely
Chinese two-wheeler bikemaker, Voge, has unveiled its latest ADV offering, the 900 DS. The bike has been displayed at EICMA 2022 and here’s what it offers.
The Voge 900 DS is similar to the Tiger on the cosmetic front. Its fascia houses a bug-like LED headlight with a transparent windscreen above. The new Voge ADV also features a beak and a couple of LED lights beneath it. Voge has also equipped the 900 DS with an engine crash guard, handlebar guards, and a belly pan for added protection. Meanwhile, the pannier mounts and the top box mounts add to the practicality.
The Chinese ADV draws power from a BMW F 900 R sourced 895cc liquid-cooled parallel twin motor. It dishes out 96.5 bhp and 64Nm and is mated to a six-speed gearbox. The setup also benefits from a slipper clutch and a bi-directional quickshifter.
It gets TFT, LED illumination, a USB port, ride modes, cruise control, traction control, heated grips and saddle, and ABS on the feature front. Meanwhile, the suspension setup comprises full adjustable front forks and a centrally mounted monoshock at the rear. The 900 DS’s braking hardware comprises dual front and a single rear disc with Brembo calipers. Adhering to its ADV character, the Voge 900 DS features a 21-inch front and a 17-inch rear spoked wheel wrapped in 90/90 front and 150/70 rear Michelin Anakee III tyres. It weighs about 240kg and gets a 20-litre fuel tank.
Voge has only ventured into select international markets apart from China. And its entry into the Indian market is unlikely to happen anytime soon. However, there are a bunch of options for ADV enthusiasts here, ranging from 200cc to 1,200cc.
