Honda has updated the Vario 160 for 2022 with some significant upgrades. While there is no word about it being launched in India, it would an interesting proposition as Honda does not have any scooter offering in the segment. Design
The previous edition of the Honda Vario had a sharp design. Although for 2022, Honda has stepped up and redesigned the Vario to make it even edgier. At the front, it receives a sloping apron with a full-LED headlamp, LED DRL with turn signals slotted above that gives it the aggressive look, to begin with. Even the side panels with sharp lines and creases give the 2022 Vario a whole new look.
Features
The list of features on the 2022 Honda Vario is decent if not top-of-the-line. It comes with a full-digital instrument cluster that displays a fuel gauge, distance covered and average fuel consumed along with battery voltage and other vitals. Moreover, it also gets ABS, a USB charging port and 18-litres of underseat storage for added convenience.
Engine and cycle parts
Now, the Vario comes powered by a 160cc engine that churns out 15bhp and 13.4Nm. In comparison, the Yamaha Aerox 155 produces similar numbers with minutely higher torque. As for its hardware, the Honda Vario comes with telescopic forks up front and a single-sided shock at the rear. It rides on 14-inch wheels that are shod with chunky 90/80 section and 100/80 section tyres.
