- Yamaha NMax 125 Star Wars edition launched in Brazil
- Gets liveries inspired by Rebel Alliance and Galactic Empire
Yamaha’s maxi-scooter, the NMax 125, has been launched in a new Star Wars avatar in Brazil. While the body work of the scooter has remained unchanged, there are two different types of liveries representing Rebel Alliance and Galactic Empire; opposing parties in the famous movie franchise. The former is available in a white paint scheme and the latter comes in black body colour.
Unfortunately, the NMax 125 Star Wars edition won’t come to India as Yamaha doesn’t plan to introduce this maxi-scooter here anytime soon. However, the Indian riders who are sci-fi movie aficionados still have the TVS Ntorq 125 Super Squad edition to consider. It is available in three colour options with different liveries, each one of them inspired by a particular character from Marvel’s Avengers movie.
Apart from the new cosmetic treatment, the Yamaha NMax 125 has remained unaltered in all other areas. Typical of a maxi scooter, it gets a tall windscreen, a spacious seat, and dual footrest provisions. It also gets impressive features like a Bluetooth-enabled instrument cluster, an engine start-stop function, and a traction system. Furthermore, there’s a large 23-litre under seat storage space and a glove box up front.
As for the Indian market, Yamaha recently updated the Fascino 125 and the Ray ZR 125 by adding new hybrid technology and a few other features.
