Yamaha has pulled the wraps of the 2022 model of the YZ-125 – an entry-level dirt bike. The company has given is massive updates first time in 15 years.
Yamaha has reworked on the design, performance and even the braking aspects of this motorcycle. For starters, the aesthetics are now sharper and aggressive, thanks to the presence of new front and rear fenders, new body panels and tank shrouds. The fuel tank is smaller and the seat is flatter making it offer better seating ergonomics.
The 125cc liquid-cooled engine is new. The Japanese firm has given it new cylinder, pistons, crankcase and more. The gearbox too, is new. In terms of braking department, Yamaha has given it larger front pistons and bigger discs at the front and back. The suspension department has been heavily worked upon too. The new Yamaha YZ-125 will go on sale in the next few months and will costs about Rs 5.14 lakh in US.
