- New XSR125 unveiled
- Gets new paint schemes, tyres
- Sold only in the UK for now
Yamaha has pulled the wraps off the new XSR125 Legacy edition for 2022. This model will be available in the UK markets from June onwards.
For 2022, this modern retro motorcycle gets new paint schemes, spoke wheels with gold treatment and new Metzeler Karoo tyres. In the outgoing model, the Japanese brand was using black alloy wheels. The tyre design is claimed to give our retro feeling, thanks to block patterns. The muffler coffer has also been redesigned to make the bike look more retro.
The XSR125 gets its power from a 125cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine that makes around 14.8bhp of peak power at 10,000rpm and peak torque of 11.5Nm at 8000rpm. This is the same motor that powers the MT125.
Yamaha plans to make a series of accessories available for this motorcycle including the expensive Akrapovic exhaust. This bike has been priced at £4,950 (Rs 4.9 lakh) and sadly, it won’t come to India anytime soon.
