Yamaha recently introduced plenty of aftermarket accessories for its neo-retro offering, the XSR900, in Japan. These are meant to ramp up the aesthetic and functional quotient of the motorcycle. Although the bike and these accessory kits are unlikely to enter India anytime soon, let’s check out them in these pictures for the sheer visual treat that they are.
Yamaha Japan has introduced two sets of accessories – Blood Line Style and Touring Style. The former is inclined towards making it racier not just design-wise but also functionally.
The visual add-ons include a bubble-type headlamp cowl which harks back to the race bikes of yesteryears. For the rear section, the pack offers a cowl and a tail tidy kit.
Other elements under the Blood Line package include an Akrapovic full exhaust muffler, a performance damper for mitigating vibrations, adjustable brake and clutch levers, a headlight grill, and a radiator cover.
As for the Touring Style pack, the accessories exclusive to this set include side bag carriers, soft side bags, a lowering link for the pegs, and a side protector for the cowl.
The rest of the accessories, including the front fairing and rear cowl, are common in both packs. However, the colours of these packs are different; the Blood Line pack is adorned in the white, red, and yellow shades while Touring Style comes in a combination of blue and yellow.
The mechanical aspects of the XSR900 remain the same as before. The highlight of the bike is its 899cc, CP3 engine that produces around 118bhp and 93.5Nm of peak torque.
