- TMax gets updated for 2022
- New styling, more features
- No change in performance
Yamaha has upgraded its flagship scooter- the TMax for 2022. This new model gets loaded with lots of tech and at the same time looks much better aesthetically.
Yamaha says that the fascia now gets supersport-inspired styling. So it is more muscular with reshaped headlights and also gets a larger windscreen with a central air-intake. The mid-section is now slightly more compact and that has been done to make it sportier.
Below the new screen is a brand new full colour 7-inch TFT screen that gets a combination of analog and monochrome. There’s smartphone connectivity along with navigation maps. This system also shows the weather forecasts.
In terms of performance, there aren’t changes done. The 560cc parallel-twin motor makes 47bhp and 55.7Nm of peak torque. There are have been changes made in the wheels and the suspension. These changes have made the TMax the lightest scooter in its class.
The pricing for the 2022 TMax isn’t out yet, but it shouldn’t bother us much because this scooter won't make its way to India, at least not anytime soon.
