- Yezdi Roadking 650 India launch confirmed
- To use 652cc engine from BSA Goldstar
- Will rival Royal Enfield 650 twins
Classic Legends recently launched the Yezdi brand in India with three motorcycles on offer. And now, the brand has confirmed that it will be launching the Roadking in the country sometime soon.
Now the Roadking was Yezdi’s prime two-wheeler in the ‘80s and ‘90s and when launched, will be the flagship model in the line-up. To begin with, it is likely to be based on the BSA Goldstar that comes with a 652cc, single-cylinder mill churning out 45bhp and 55Nm.
And looking at the other Yezdi motorcycles with retro flavour yet modern features we can expect the Roadking to be no different. It is highly-likely to come with full-LED lighting, a digital cluster with connectivity and navigation as well as dual-channel ABS.
While there is no official confirmation about its launch date, the Yezdi Roadking is likely to debut by late 2022 or early 2023. Nonetheless, it will aim to take on the Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 and Kawasaki Z650 RS in the country.
