- Yezdi Roadking trademark registered in India
- Website name also registered
- Launch details unavailable yet
After Jawa, Classic Legends is working on reviving the Yezdi brand in the Indian market. In the latest development, the company has registered the trademark for the Yezdi Roadking in India. The company has also registered a trademark for YezdiRoadking.com in the country. The trademark for the Roadking name and the website are valid until 2024.
The details about the Indian launch of the Yezdi brand are scarce, although it will be safe to assume that the upcoming motorcycle will receive a retro design that will be inspired by the original Roadking. Thus, we could see a round shape for the headlight and the turn indicators. Similar to the original model, the upcoming Yezdi Roadking could use a twin-pod instrument cluster, a flat-style saddle, and twin-sided exhaust canisters.
Mechanical specifications should be similar to the Jawa motorcycles, and the upcoming Yezdi may feature a single-cylinder, liquid-cooled setup. The displacement and output numbers, however, could be different from the current Jawa motorcycles.
The hardware could comprise telescopic forks at the front and twin-sided rear springs to perform the suspension tasks. The braking setup should include disc brakes on both wheels while the safety net may comprise a dual-channel ABS.
