Jawa Yezdi Motorcycles has announced a new offer on its modern classic offering, the Roadster. The company is offering accessories worth Rs. 16,000 as standard fitment on the bike for a limited period. It’s called the Trail Pack and comprises 6 adventure and touring-centric add-ons including saddle bags, saddle stays, visor kit, headlamp grille, backrest, crash guard, and bike cover. The prices of the bike continue to start from Rs. 2.09 lakh (ex-showroom).
The Yezdi Roadster remains unchanged in all other areas. The last update it received was in September last year when it received visual and ergonomic changes. Now, it gets touring-friendly ergonomics with revised rider footpegs that are forward-set by 155mm and a taller handlebar. Moreover, it features a blacked-out finish on the engine and exhaust system while new handlebar grips and handlebar-mounted mirrors have also been incorporated.
Powering the Yezdi Roadster is a 334cc, liquid-cooled motor that makes 29bhp and 28.9Nm of peak torque. The single-cylinder engine is mated to a six-speed gearbox. Underpinned by a double cradle chassis, the Roadster rides on an 18-17-inch alloy wheel combination that is suspended by telescopic forks and dual springs. Braking hardware comprises a single disc at both ends while dual-channel ABS comes as standard. With a fuel tank capacity of 12.5 litres, the modern-classic offering tips the scales at 194kg (kerb).
