- Yezdi adventure bike spotted testing
- Front looks like Himalayan
- Gets TFT screen
We all know Classic Legends was in the process of reviving the famous Yezdi brand. And now it looks like, the official revival date isn’t too far as their new product has been spotted on test.
The company is working on an adventure bike and if this spy shots are to be believed, the bike will take on the Royal Enfield Himalayan. The test mule was fully camouflaged, but we did manage to gather some information from it. Firstly, the fascia looks quite similar to that of the Himalayan. The bike gets a tall windscreen, large front wheel, round headlamp and long travel front suspension.
This Yezdi adventure bike is likely to get the 334cc liquid-cooled motor from the Jawa Perak. But we can expect the overall tuning to be done differently and the gearbox would be reworked too. In terms of other cycle parts, we believe this Yezdi will be brand new and there won’t be any kind of component sharing with the Jawas.
We can also see a large screen, which could be a TFT one. It looks like the brand is planning to position this product at the premium end but will it undercut the Himalayan? Well, for that we will have to wait for the official launch. We are expecting the Yezdi brand to debut sometime early next year.
