- Miracle GR is a personal mobility vehicle
- DeX GR is designed for last-mile delivery
- Both electric scooters to be manufactured by Bajaj Auto
Yulu and Bajaj Auto have announced the launch of the Miracle GR and the DeX GR in the Indian market. These new products are powered by Yulu’s AI-led technology stack, manufactured by Bajaj Auto, and rolled out by Chetak Technology Ltd, which is a 100 per cent owned subsidiary of the Pune-based manufacturer.
The Miracle GR is a personal mobility vehicle that can be used for short-distance commutes, boasting a maximum speed of 25kmph. Meanwhile, the DeX GR is built for last-mile deliveries and thus comes with a goods carrier at the back. This carrier has a weight carrying capacity of 15kg. Both vehicles come with a headlight and taillight, telescopic front forks, rear springs, and drum brakes on both wheels.
The Indian shared electric mobility player has doubled its fleet in the last three months, and is poised to put 1,00,000 vehicles on the road across major cities in the country. Yulu is targeting more than 10 times growth in revenues by the end of the year. With this partnership with Bajaj Auto, Yulu expects significant cost reductions and improvements in operating metrics and overall financials, owing to locally sourced parts and assembly, production quality, and optimised economies of scale.
Yulu’s fleet operates on swappable batteries and is powered by Yuma Energy. Currently, there are approximately 100 Yuma stations across Bengaluru, Mumbai, and Delhi. The company aims to scale to 500 outlets by 2024.
