- Zongshen Cyclone RG3 sports-tourer revealed
- Powered by TC400R twin-cylinder engine
- Unlikely to enter the Indian market
Zongshen Motorcycles has added one more product to its portfolio and this time it's a sports-tourer with christened the RG3. The Chinese brand has just showcased the Cyclone RG3 at the 2021 Motor China Show in Beijing. The sports-tourer looks quite attractive with its full fairing. It also gets features like all LED lights, graphics across its side profile, a split-style seat, slipper clutch, 21-litre fuel tank and a windscreen upfront.
It's powered by a TC400R twin-cylinder water-cooled 401cc motor that churns out 42.2bhp at 9,500rpm and 34Nm at 8,000rpm. This motor is coupled to a six-speed gearbox that is used to transmit all this power and torque.
The ride here is taken care of by conventional telescopic forks at the front and a mono-shock suspension at the rear. For braking, it employs a dual-disc wave disc at the front and a single wave disc at the rear. The wheelbase of the bike is 1390mm, the seat height is kept at 780mm, and it comes with a ground clearance of 165mm. However, details related to its pricing and availability are yet to be known. Meanwhile, its launch in the Indian market seems highly unlikely.
