Chinese two-wheeler maker, Zongshen has unveiled the production-ready Cyclone RX6 adventure tourer. The new model from the Chinese brand, which made its debut in concept form at the 17th China International Motorcycle Trade Exhibition, uses Norton Motorcycles’ 650cc, twin-cylinder engine that makes 70bhp and 62Nm of peak torque. The 650cc motor powers Norton models such as the Atlas and the Nomad. Zongshen had entered into an agreement with the British marquee in 2017.
The Cyclone RX6 is an adventure-sports tourer. The road-biased setup includes 17-inch alloy wheels on both ends while the touring capabilities are enhanced by a windscreen and upright ergonomics. The feature list on the motorcycle includes a twin-pod LED headlight at the front, Bluetooth-enabled colour TFT-display, split-style seat, and a side-slung exhaust setup. The premium feature list also comprises an electronically adjustable windscreen and keyless ignition.
The hardware on the motorcycle include Kayaba-sourced upside-down front forks and an asymmetrically-mounted rear mono-shock to perform the suspension tasks. The braking setup comprises petal-type twin rotors at the front and a single disc at the back while the safety net is provided by Bosch ABS.
