I have got this beast in 2017, overall experience with re staff (ManMohan autos) is very good till date. I have driven it in ladakh, himachal, Punjab & Haryana on and off road. Usp of this bike is it's looks, it still catches eyeballs on signals etc, it performs really well on long journeys including a comfortable riding experience. Maintenance is easy, just get it serviced regularly and take it anywhere you want. Cons : water accumulates in tank leaking from the lid, no kick start no tubeless tyres, cone set has to be replaced again and again.

  • The himalayan 10,000+ km. Later.

    Navaz

I bought the himalayan a year ago - upgraded from the 500 cc. Classic. I use to to commute to work most days and find the handling much better than the classic.

Recently, did a 3,500 km. Ride (from delhi to delhi) in ladak and the bike was fun to ride (solo).

In our group, there were maybe 9 or 10 re's and despite the road and conditions - she was superb.

This bike is very soft and very smooth it's riding posture is very well maintained it can be easily used for city ride also it's is a great bike. I have not owned this bike but my friend have this bike and i have ride this bike many times. When someone rides on himalayn it's look royal, and premium and it's servicing cost is very low and good maintained services 1) it's riding posture is good 2) this bike has smooth riding 3) bike looks very cool and lovely But there are some cons also 1) bike is little bit heavy as adventure bike 2) bike have bulb in headlight as all royal enfield but himalayn should have led light because it will be beneficial for touring. Only this much i wanted to say about my opinion hope it will be a good opinion thank you.

  • Himalayan is VFM but not for all.

    Ravi Kumar

I happened to purchase my first big bike, Himalayan in late Dec 2021.
Buying experience: The bike in which it falls, it has rivals as compared to its segment, it does justifies it VFM price tag, but does take take a hefty amount . The buying experience was good not extraordinary. Got delivered on time and had to negotiate a few things with dealer.
Riding experience: the bike performs well on highways, in traffic too, but since this bike is heavy and steering in between traffic can't be a task sometimes. The turning radius is little bigger. The big chunky 21inch front wheels are good to jump over speed breakers and broad tyres at back provide good stability. Brakes could have been better. They don't give you the confidence, but they do the job.
Looks and performance: looks big on size and in roads too. Performance is good at mid segment hits good. It is better to cruise along with speeds with 80-100 kmph easily.
Service and maintainance: whenever i had an issue, the nearest dealer helped me. Small issues with mirror alignment and fittings .
    Pros:
    VFM in budget.
    Initial torque is good .
    Comfortable riding ergonomics
    Cons:
1.Too heavy to maneuver in traffic
    2.Heats up in city
    3.Brakes could have better.
4.When the bike falls the weight is much, to lift, it's an task.

Proud to be an owner, excellent for riding, excellent for uphill, muddy areas and cornering is better much better compared to other RE machines. Obviously sometimes maintenance are costly because this is a mad machine and throttle madly wherever go with this adapt no matter about roads. Quite ridiculous for highways but all over mad for Indians roads. I love my HIMALAYAN.

I purchased re himalyan about three months ago I found it the best ride with the best price Riding posture is far better than any other re bikes No vibration between 100-130 km/hr speed Less maintenance cost Main reason for buying this beast is that it is not a ordinary bike The best feeling is when people looks at you and say nice bike Pros: stylish design and good riding experience Cons: engine heats up after riding for a good amount of time

    Dheeraj Kumar

I have got this beast in 2017, overall experience with re staff (ManMohan autos) is very good till date. I have driven it in ladakh, himachal, Punjab & Haryana on and off road. Usp of this bike is it's looks, it still catches eyeballs on signals etc, it performs really well on long journeys including a comfortable riding experience. Maintenance is easy, just get it serviced regularly and take it anywhere you want. Cons : water accumulates in tank leaking from the lid, no kick start no tubeless tyres, cone set has to be replaced again and again.
