The buying experience was good, not much hassle. Coming to the riding pleasure, it stands out in the power and smoothness segment. There is just enough power to stay engaged. The only issue is the seat, it's not that comfortable.
The bike looks almost perfect as a retro motorcycle from all angles. Service is slightly costlier, especially the brake pads they are damn expensive.
Pros- Good power, looks, and value for money.
    Cons- seat comfort and mileage

I would say plenty of things about THE ROYAL ENFIELD INTERCEPTOR 650
I love the way it performs on streets and long drives especially when it comes to handling corners is on point.
I haven't owned this vehicle, but I've driven quite a long drive with my buddies
The throttle response makes me shiver through my bones I'm in love with this beast !! Someday I'm gonna own this.
Speaking of comfortably I have no complaints I've driven around 400 km nonstop with no back pain the seating posture is so good.
It has some heating issues of course it's 650 CC what can you expect from the hot beast ( but the company should improve with oil cooling radiators )
One thing left to say buy it without hesitation if you are a long-drive drive enthusiastic person who performs very well in all terrains. I recommend it.

  • Royal Enfield Interceptor 650: A Rider’s Tale

My journey with the Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 began with a seamless buying experience. The dealership was professional, making the process easy and enjoyable. Riding the Interceptor 650 was an immediate thrill. Its 648cc engine offered smooth, powerful performance, and the bike's retro design turned heads wherever I went.
Performance-wise, the Interceptor excelled on highways and handled city rides with ease. The braking system was reliable, but the suspension felt stiff on rough roads, which was a slight downside on longer trips. Servicing was straightforward, with parts readily available, although maintaining the chrome fittings required extra care.
The bike's pros included its powerful engine, smooth handling, and classic looks. It was versatile enough for both city commutes and long tours. On the downside, the suspension's stiffness on uneven roads and the bike's weight could be challenging for some riders.
Overall, the Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 delivered an exhilarating riding experience with a few minor drawbacks, making it a worthy addition for any motorcycle enthusiast.
    Positive Points:
    $ Powerful engine
    $ Smooth handling
    $ Classic, head-turning design
$ Versatile for city and long-distance rides
    Negative Points:
$ Stiff suspension on rough roads
$ Heavy weight can be challenging for some riders
$ Extra care needed for chrome fittings

Classic design, smooth power delivery, comfortable ergonomics, and extensive service network. Some riders may find it heavy, with occasional quality issues. But I love it when I get on it and its exhaust gives a feeling that non-bikes can give and I especially love to ride it in rainy seasons. If anyone wants to buy it do dont think about the cost because this bike was my dream to ride.

Interceptor 650 is a very reliable bike in that price segment
It gives a very good comfort.
The looks are very good and very impressive.
    The performance is very superb.
Service and maintenance are also very price-worthy.
It is very good on every terrain. The only con is the high heat in the engine only in city rides.

    Firstly mileage!!
    You get approximately 18!
And if ur adding an aftermarket exhaust you get almost 14!
You will hate this bike in traffic cause of heat and weight of the bike
You will love this bike in highways
Service is pretty decent not that good nor that bad
And the common problem is brake or clutch lever brakes easily
If punctured you should take it to the service center and they remove the tyres and give and we should go close the puncture and come to that things sucks cause no puncher shop closes the puncher of this bike cause of the sensors in the wheel its too risky so they just don’t do it!

Riding High on the Royal Enfield Interceptor 650
I have been cruising the roads on my Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 for a good few months now and it has been a thrilling journey! With a robust 648cc parallel twin engine, it effortlessly delivers about 47 horsepower and 52 Nm of torque makes every ride smooth and powerful. The 6 speed gearbox with its slip assist clutch allows for seamless gear transitions, enhancing the ride experience. What really stands out is its retro charm combined with modern performance. The dual cradle frame design is not only sturdy but also ensures stable handling at high speeds.

First service down in about 3 hours, after cooling down the bike for about an hour. Oil change done, oil filter too and the torqued every nut/ bolt the mechanic could see or reach. Average in city improved by 1. From 23kmpl to 24. So much for that. Highway riding remains restricted to Ghatkopar-Thane- what joy that is. So apart from the cost of the service - INR 2600, there doesn't seem to be any difference in the running of the bike. It's still smooth. The next oil change will be at 5000, followed by 10,000 and the. Direct 20,000km.

Never intended to get one due to the long long waiting period, but when I saw a new showroom opening, and they had a stock of I-650s, I just couldn't resist! 7 days, and the charming chrome-coloured Interceptor Mark 2 is HOME!!! One short push on the button, a little twist in the throttle and I get transported to a different dimension of motorcycling. The riding stance, the response from the engine, the vintage looks, and the sweet growl of the panther make eyeballs turn. The pickup is easy, smooth and equivalent to litre-class motorcycles. At the same time intimidating for people who just graduated from a smaller-engine motorcycle. RE has done a brilliant job in looking into all the aspects of creating a perfect bike... Errr, perfect beast.
No beast can be tamed easily, and they need a lot of care. Never cold start the bike, I repeat, NEVER COLD START THE BIKE! A little warm-up is very important for optimal performance. Cleaning the chains every week is important to maintain a good machine life. The service centres are nice, and they complete service on time if a prior appointment is taken.
Pros: Looks, engine, power, thrill, feel-good factor, I can go on and on.
Cons: A little vibration and heat don't bother, do they?

Got INT 650 in my circle. Beautiful sound just like the Triumph or Ducati with AEWs. Took it to Jaiselmer in May on a 600+ Km ride in a day, easy to cruise at 120-130 kmph all day long. No heating issue or anything of such sort. You may get tired though.
    Pros.
    Looks simple though.
    Good tank range.
    Enough of spares/accessories available.
    Reliable engine and chassis
    No rusting issues.
    Cons.
Too heavy, impractical for city uses.
    The front looks like Meteor.
Poor sales Service centre. Better find a decent RE mechanic.
    Uncomfortable seating.
    Break bite not adequate.
Front break fluid pump keeps failing.

    $ Powerful engine
    $ Smooth handling
    $ Classic, head-turning design
$ Versatile for city and long-distance rides
    Negative Points:

    Kaustubh Gupta

Avoid riding on bad roads. Change OEM CEAT tyres, those are slippery not so reliable. Use Motul or Liqui Moly with recommended grade. Bar riser or taller handle bars can reduce a lot of stress.
